FAQs — USk Van Sketch Weekend 2025

For those who signed up for USk Van Sketch Weekend 2025, here is the useful information you should know before the event!

Q. Can I come only for my event? Is there anything more planned?

You are welcome to join on both days of Sketch Weekend!

In the morning sessions, we have workshops and sketchcrawls with limited capacity. But afternoon sessions are open to all registered participants. They will be held indoors at Zameen Art House (on Granville Island) from 2pm-5pm on both days. There will be ample opportunities to hang out, listen to inspiring talks, chat with other sketchers, and look through each other’s sketchbooks - all the fun stuff!

Q. Will I be able to speak with instructors and visiting Executive Board members?

Yes! We made sure to designate some unstructured time for mingling every afternoon. Join our afternoon sessions from 2pm onwards at Zameen Art House.

Q. I registered but cannot make it to the event any longer. What should I do?

Contact the admin team email (usk.vancouver@gmail.com) so your seat can be given to the next person on the wait-list.

Q. Did someone say goody bag? I heard talk about a goody bag!

USk Vancouver Sketch Weekend is supported generously by a host of sponsors who have donated art supplies for every participant. Collect your goody bag at the start of your workshop or sketchcrawl. Alternatively, join the afternoon session at 2pm in Zameen Art House and ask a volunteer for your goody bag. It is full of amazing art supplies to get you kickstarted on your drawing journey!

For a full list of sponsors, visit here.

Q. How can I learn more about the Instructors and workshops they are giving?

Visit the USk Vancouver blog and check out the posts about each Instructor!

Q. Is there a list of art supplies for my session?

Visit the USk Vancouver blog, and find the page about your workshop or sketchwalk to see a list of suggested art supplies.

Q. Can I share pictures and drawings from this event on Instagram?

Yes, please! And don’t forget to tag us @usk.vancouver!

For any other questions or concerns, email us - usk.vancouver@gmail.com.
