This beautifully recreated 1920s village is now open for the summer season with free admission. Why not take advantage of this seasonal opportunity? The village has restored heritage buildings and replicas, from a barber shop to a grocery store, a school, a steam shed, and a carousel, recreating the atmosphere of a village from a century ago. It will be an interesting sketching subject and we can get a glimpse into history too. The village being located at the picturesque Deer Lake Park, you can also find other things to sketch such as Deer Lake, people having a picnic at the park and some interesting architecture in the vicinity.
